Introduction
By placing an order with Mini Botanica, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We make every effort to process your order carefully, quickly and correctly.
These Terms & Conditions are provided as a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between this translation and the original Dutch version, the Dutch version shall prevail.

Article 1 – Definitions
Seller: Mini Botanica.
Customer: Any natural or legal person entering into an agreement with Mini Botanica.
Consumer: A natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession.
Agreement: Any purchase agreement concluded through the Mini Botanica webshop.
Products: All products offered, including live plants, Tissue Culture (TC) plants and accessories.
Article 2 – Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements concluded through the Mini Botanica webshop.
Article 3 – Offers
All offers are non-binding.
Obvious errors or mistakes do not bind Mini Botanica.
Product photos are for illustrative purposes only.
Article 4 – Formation of the Agreement
The agreement is concluded once the order has been confirmed by Mini Botanica.
Mini Botanica reserves the right to refuse an order or request additional information.
Article 5 – Prices
All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Shipping costs are clearly displayed before completing the order.
Article 6 – Payment
Payment must be made using one of the available payment methods, including:
- iDEAL
- Wero
- in3
- Bancontact
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Credit Card (where available)
Orders are processed after payment has been received.
Article 7 – Delivery
Orders are processed as quickly as possible.
Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
Mini Botanica is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers.
Article 8 – Live Plants and Tissue Culture (TC) Plants
Plants are living products.
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
Transport damage must be reported within 24 hours and include clear photos of:
- the plant;
- the packaging;
- the shipping label.
For regular plants, Mini Botanica guarantees only that the plant is healthy at the time of shipment.
Additional conditions apply to Tissue Culture plants:
- The warranty expires once the sealed packaging has been opened, the agar has been removed or the acclimatisation process has started.
- Acclimatisation is entirely the customer's responsibility.
- Variegation, growth and development may change naturally and are not covered by warranty.
- Damage resulting from improper care, fungi, bacteria, unsuitable substrates, temperature, humidity or watering is not covered.
Article 9 – Right of Withdrawal
Non-living products may be returned within 14 days in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
Return requests must be submitted via info@minibotanica.nl.
Article 10 – Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Live Plants
Under Dutch Civil Code Article 6:230p, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to live plants, including Tissue Culture plants.
If you experience any issues, please contact us. We will gladly work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Article 11 – Complaints
Complaints can be submitted via info@minibotanica.nl.
Mini Botanica aims to respond within five business days.
Article 12 – Liability
Mini Botanica shall only be liable for direct damages to the extent permitted by law.
Liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.
Article 13 – Force Majeure
Mini Botanica is not obliged to fulfil its obligations in the event of force majeure, including extreme weather conditions, transport disruptions or government measures.
Article 14 – Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and is used solely for processing orders, customer service and legal obligations.
Article 15 – Governing Law
All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
